TRAINING: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and CDC guidelines, election training will not be conducted this year, instead we have prepared this resource page for election workers to obtain the materials and information we normally review at our annual training.
Hard copies of the materials listed below will be provided with each polling site’s election supplies as per usual.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please call the Borough Clerk’s Office (907) 714-VOTE (8683).
ELECTION EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES: The Kenai Peninsula Borough will be using the Optical Scan Units that most of you are already familiar with. (We will NOT be using the new equipment the State used for the primary election and will be using for the general election.)
Precinct Chairs will need to replace the new collapsible Dominion ballot boxes with the solid black ballot boxes for the borough election which are already stored at your polling site.
PPE will be provided with your precinct supplies. These supplies are for both the public and the election workers use. Please see Cleaning and Disinfecting Polling Place under Resources links listed below.
Your precinct supplies, OS units, ballots & PPE supplies can be picked up at the following locations:
