Planning Commission


There is a city seat vacancy due to a term expiration on the Kenai Peninsula Borough Planning Commission.  Any borough resident may apply.  All seats have three-year terms.  Persons interested must be qualified voters.  The borough must received a completed application form on or before November 1, 2021.  For additional information contact the KPB Planning Department at 714-2200 or toll free within the borough at 1-800-478-4441.    Link to online application

2021 Planning Commission Meeting Calendar

Planning Commission meetings are held in the Betty J. Glick Assembly Chambers of the Kenai Peninsula Borough George A. Navarre Administration Building, 144 N. Binkley Street, Soldotna. Participation is also available through video and teleconferencing via Zoom. To join the Zoom  meeting from a computer visit If you connect by computer and do not have speakers or a microphone, connect online and then select phone for audio. A box will come up with toll free numbers, the Meeting ID, and your participant number.To attend the Zoom meeting by telephone call toll free 1-888-788-0099 or 1-877-853-5247. When calling in you will need the Meeting ID 208 425 9541. Occasionally, meetings are held in different communities. Please verify the meeting location and time by checking the current agenda.
