The Western Emergency Service Area was established in 2021 to provide fire protection and ambulance service to the Anchor Point and Ninilchick areas. The service area board is made up of five members that are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the assembly.

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, at 6:30 pm. (unless otherwise noted) 

The next regular board meeting is scheduled for:
May 11, 2022, at 6:30 pm

The meeting will be conducted in a semi-modified format due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and CDC guidelines. This meeting will be open to Board Members and virtual for the public. The meeting will be held through Zoom, the Meeting ID: 979 8197 7994 Password: 108828.
