TODDLER GYM- Wednesday 11am-12pm. Preschool age children and parents can come play in our gym and meet new friends. $1.00/child.
ACTIVE & ADVENTUROUS- Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:30-1:30pm. Open to Kindergarten-5th grade children. Organized gym activities led by NCRC Staff. Parents are not required to stay during program. $1.00/child. (25 children max)
OPEN GYM Mondays & Fridays 11am-2pm; Saturdays 1-3pm. Bring the whole family out to play basketball, kickball, and 4-square or just to let the little ones run off some energy. Remember to check our monthly calendar for dates and times of what’s happening at NCRC. $1.00/person.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 3:30-5:30pm at the Nikiski Community Recreation Center. Kindergarten-5th Grade Boys & Girls.
*Transportation is available from Nikiski North Star Elementary. Please talk to the office staff to get a bus pass (Bus #118) for your child. Lots of fun including… Arts/Crafts, Gym Activities, Fitness Fun, Cooking, Pottery. Please call Jackie for more information on fees and how to register.
FULL SWING GOLF
The Full Swing Golf Simulator has an Interactive Practice Facility along with over 30 courses to choose from.
Hours: Monday-Friday 10am-8pm; Saturday 10am-3pm.
Fees: Monday-Thursday, $20/hour. Friday & Saturday, $24/hour.
SPIN CLASS
6pm Wednesdays; 10am Saturdays
$5.00/Class; $45.00/Punch card (10 classes)
NCRC TEEN CENTER
Open Monday-Friday 2:30-6pm. Open to all students in 6th-12th Grade. Pool Tables, Foosball, Air Hockey, Computers, Video Games, Basketball, and more. FREE DAILY ADMITTANCE!!
BOOKISH ADVENTURES
Mondays 11am; This is a thirty minute story time for all Preschoolers-5th graders. Meet in the Nikiski Community Recreation Center Library. Parents must stay if children are younger than kindergarten.
COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE
The Community Garage Sale takes in the spring and/or summer, and is held at the Nikiski Community Recreation Center. Spaces are available for rent. Contact the Recreation Department for more information.
FAMILY FUN IN THE MIDNIGHT SUN
NPRSA’s Family Fun in the Midnight Sun Event is a community wide event held every year on the third Saturday of June. NPRSA coordinates with local organizations and businesses to organize a fun filled day of activities. Activities include but are not limited to food booths, carnival booths, music, games, a 5K walk/run, children’s field games with prizes, and family prize drawings. The whole community gathers each year on this day to enjoy the sun, the fun, and the games! Booths spaces are available to organizations. Registration begins in April. More info here.

NPRSA’s Summer Day Camp is for boys and girls going into 1st through 5th grade. The eight week camp begins in June. The camp runs Monday-Thursday utilizing the NPRSA facilities. Activities include swimming, cooking, pottery, arts & crafts, gym games, fitness, nature hikes, sports, and much more! Registration begins in April. Click here to open the registration form.
